Sol in Western Australia
4 December 2006, 1619ZA large number of Western Australians have recently informed me that they have decided to reinstate daylight saving time, and as a result, Sol is now reporting times that are off by one hour. If you're using Sol in Western Australia, please close Sol and reopen it to receive updated time zone information.

had an interesting sol experience. I was flying back from NYC last night to chicago, and our flight was considerably delayed. As such, the two muslim clerics that I ended up sitting next two were still in the air as the sun was going down. They were trying to figure out what time sunset would be in chicago, and if they would make it there before sundown. all the while, we were chasing the sun, but clearly not fast enough. I was able to tell them when sunset would be exactly, thanks to Sol... they ended up having to pray there on the plane, but thankfully no one freaked out about it (which happened just two weeks ago in Minneapolis).
